Christmas Morning

My family has a tradition of cold cereal for breakfast Christmas morning. After we opened presents we looked over and noticed that Uncle Bryan was feeding Moses his cereal! Moses had already had breakfast, but he was ready for seconds!

Christmas Eve Entertainment

Moses was our entertainment for Christmas Eve. He had so much energy! He took off his underwear and ran up to Scott saying, "Unders, head!" Scott asked, "You want me to put your underwear on your head?" He said, "OK. Please." Then he danced around the living room and kept us laughing until he collapsed spread eagle on his back. Sorry, but that part didn't quite make it onto the video. Here is but a small sample of his antics.

New Faces

We had a couple new faces at our Christmas Celebrations this year. My little sister Annalysa has a new husband, Micheal, and my big sister Jessica has a new boyfriend, Travis.

It was great getting to know them better. They both seem like great guys!

Driving and More Driving

We decided that since we were now the proud owners of a high class minivan we would drive all the way to Oregon instead of flying this Christmas. We planned the trip so that on the way down we would stop in Vancouver and spend a few days with our good friends the Leavitts before continuing on to Oregon. Coming back we stopped in Glenwood and spent the night at Scott's parent’s house (they are away on a mission). It was a two day trip down, and a two day trip back. We put over 5,000 km on our van (over 3,100 miles according to Google conversion) and spent hours traveling! It was fun, but I don't know if we will do it again for a long time. Here are some pictures from our travels.

Christmas Card 2007

We really did do a Christmas Card this year, just not in enough time to actually mail it out. So for those of you who are interested, this is the Smith Family Christmas Card from 2007.P.S. Funny thing about this Christmas Card. This isn't actually our Christmas Tree. We decided we weren't going to be home enough this Christmas to actually put up a tree, so while we were delivering Christmas goodies to friends and neighbors, we asked the first person that invited us in if we could take a family picture by their tree. Luckily they didn't think we were too crazy or this picture would have just been Santa without the tree!

Dipping Chocolates

We have a new family tradition (2 years in a row makes a tradition, right?) of making and dipping homemade chocolates. It is actually a lot of fun. This year we made Peanut Butter, Orange, Coconut, and Chocolate Mint flavored chocolates. Our good friend Jason came over to help us roll the fondant and dip the chocolates. As you can see from the pictures, Moses loved it!

It's a Boy!!!!!!!

We saw a penis! It is for sure a boy. Scott and I both noticed it before the ultrasound tech pointed it out. Now all we have to do is think of a name...

Seventy Two Ave Band

It all started at a street party. It came up that almost everyone had played in a junior high band before...with the host being a current band teacher......it just went from there. Oh, the nostalgia of it all!
