Seventy Two Ave Band

It all started at a street party. It came up that almost everyone had played in a junior high band before...with the host being a current band teacher......it just went from there. Oh, the nostalgia of it all!

Halloween

Kub Kar Rally

The Elders Quorum Kub Kar Rally was AWESOME. Mine is the bus-I came in 4th overall for speed. The Tub is Jason's......lets just say it was really good, and everyone had a great time!

New Baby

I just had an ultrasound. This is the baby at 10 weeks old. It is about 3.5 Centimeters from head to tail. It was so neat to see it moving around inside of me. It kept waving it's little arms!It is still a miracle, even the second time around.

Book of Mormon Stories

Whenever we sing this - Moses always exaggerates the bow at the end. We think it is hilarious, but we think everything this kid does is exceptional. Sorry - we can't help it.

Our little Sunbeam

Just a few words...

Moses and Scott were reading books the other day. He thought it would be funny to catch some of his growing vocabulary on video. You can tell he still gets horses and cows mixed up. And you can see how he mixes signs and words. He will be so embarrassed by this when he is older!

S'mores

We went camping over Labor Day Weekend. We went with some friends. They have a little girl Moses' age, Addison. Moses and Addison have always gotten along, and this trip was no exception. They kept going and sitting in the bushes next to our campsite. They always hug eachother, and this time we even caught them kissing! (we didn't tell them too - they just do that sometimes!)

Scott fished a bunch and caught 2 good sized pike. We actually ate one while we were still camping. When he caught one early in the morning, it wrapped itself around a log and got tangled into some fishing line. Scott left his pole and ran back to the campsite, changed into his shorts, and ran back. Then he jumped into the water and untangled his fish so he could reel it in!

Moses had his first S'more while we were there. And although I think he liked it, when he got his second one he just took it apart, ate the chocolate out of it and then put it back together and gave it to me! I think he takes after his dad that way.

Out with the Old.. In with the New

We got a new Van!!! OK - so we may still have some reservations about being old boring married people who drive their children around in a minivan. But we can't help it - we are very excited about our new van. Our old faithful car was on its last leg, so we decided to start looking to see if we could find a good deal. We did a lot of research before we got this thing, and so far we are really happy with it. It is a 2003 Ford Windstar with less than 100, 000 km on it (first time we have ever had a vehicle with that low mileage). Now if only I could get a remote starter and a DVD player installed, all my wildest dreams will have come true! Moses seems to like it too. The other day we were driving in the car, and Moses said, "Done." He kept saying it over and over, so I asked Moses, "Done with what?". He answered, "Done with car." He hasn't said that again since we've been driving the van!
