We are so excited to see it come together. We knocked down a wall to add a living room and then built a wall and a closet to make the suite a two bedroom.
We still are not done yet and are going to finish it early August when I get some time off from working in Drumheller. We still have to move the old kitchen cupboards from upstairs down...but we first have to wait for the tenants upstairs to vacate! Eventually it will be done and will look amazing...it already looks GREAT! We will have to give you the before and after shots when we are all done.

Is this the new place? Are you going to continue to have tenants? Are you going to be living in the basement? Do many questions.
Just to clarify...
This is our basement suite that we are hoping to rent out by the first of September. We are doing all this work to a place we will never live in, but we are hoping it will let us charge more for rent.
We will be living in the top floor, where the tenants are right now. They move out August 1st and then we can finally move all our stuff upstairs and unpack - YEAH!
