25 weeks and growing!

After many requests, I have finally taken a picture of my growing belly. I did this when I was pregnant with Moses and enjoyed it, but this time it isn't as much fun. I feel so much bigger than when I was pregnant with Moses, but after taking this picture and comparing it to the one taken around 24 weeks when I was pregnant with Moses I was surprised to find there wasn't much difference.

Everything with the pregnancy seems to be going well. We will keep you updated!

Riding the Rides

Scott has had a lot of time off this month, and we have been able to do a lot as a family. We decided to take Moses to West Edmonton Mall where they have an indoor amusement park. Children under 3 can ride the kiddie rides for free. There aren't a lot of different rides that he can go on, but he really enjoyed the ones he could. All except the carousel - after about one turn around he said he was done. Scott took him on most of the rides, and it seems like they all go around in circles. After the third one he was too dizzy to go on any rides for awhile! Moses liked the train ride the best. It goes into a tunnel - just like the train in his favorite book, "Green, Eggs, and Ham."

Snow Cave

One of the nice things about living in constant sub-zero temperatures is that there is always plenty of snow to play in - if you can bundle up in enough layers that is! (Don't get too jealous, Red Grandma and Red Grandpa!)

It is so funny to watch Moses walk through the snow. It is like he is learning to walk all over again. It comes up almost to his knees, and he has a hard time changing directions and turning around. The other day he fell over and couldn't figure out how to stand back up. But it doesn't make him cry anymore, so he is making improvements!

Scott and Moses had a lot of fun with this snow cave. I should say that Scott had a lot of fun with it and Moses was excited when he figured out how to get out of it! (Moses is still a bit of a weenie - maybe in a few years)

Driving through Glenwood

In case you didn't already know, it is legal for babies to drive in Glenwood, Alberta as long as they are sitting on a legally licensed driver's lap. Or so I have been told by a very reliable source (i.e. not Scott). Although I would like to say that this is Moses' first driving experience, I don't believe I can honestly make that claim. Some of you may find this video a little long, and for that I apologize. But I know of at least 2 persons who will think that it needed to be so much longer, especially with all the scenery passing by the window.

Funny Story about Bryan: We all went to see the movie "I am Legend". At this one scary part - Bryan screamed and jumped really high. We found out later that he threw his entire bag of popcorn on the people behind him!!! Thanks for the great times and the great laughs, Bryan!

My family has a tradition of cold cereal for breakfast Christmas morning. After we opened presents we looked over and noticed that Uncle Bryan was feeding Moses his cereal! Moses had already had breakfast, but he was ready for seconds!
